hard drive is busted.

will attempt to recover the data. not sure if it will even work.

what's safe:

- the fanart
- the fanart from other people i'd saved
- schoolwork photos and videos
- one brush set and a few texture packs i'd uploaded to dA.

what i will lose if it doesn't:

everything else. the hi-res copies of my photos, any other photo that i didn't upload on the internet somewhere, all my digital art originals from 2006 onwards, all my stock photos, textures, 80% of my music.


i've already accepted that i'm getting none of it back. really, what else can i do?
