just found a copy of "the world without us" at home -- possibly dad's doing. anyway, it's one of those books that i thought sounded interesting when i heard about it. i now have something to read on my train rides! i hope it's good.

on the topic of books, i've thought about ordering a copy of "house of leaves". however, it'd be very expensive, so i don't want to do it until i'm 100% i'd like it. anyone read it?
