music stuff

So, after... what, two, three years? I got a sudden need to listen to some gothic rock/darkwave/death rock/whatthefuckever I could NEVER get the fucking genres right argh

Thing is, I deleted most of my stuff since I thought my interest in that kind of music had died with my wannabe!goth phase (and it has, for the most part. I can only listen to it for short periods of time, or else I start getting bored/falling asleep). All I have left is some Cocteau Twins and Diabolique. I'm re-downloading Dead Can Dance and Sisters of Mercy, but I can't fucking remember what else I used to listen, god. I'll take my memory-addled self to Wikipedia to look for any band names that might ring a bell. And then to Soulseek.

I've kept most of my Neoclassical/Dark Ambient music (Arcana, Dargaard, Elend, Raison d'etre) 'cause i like to listen to it when i paint. Now I want more of it...

Speaking of Soulseek, apparently I have a port/router problem that's not letting anyone browse/download my files. I've been bitched out like three times by other users for not sharing anything. Dudes! I want to share my love files with you! but I just can't! I *could* fix it, since they give you instructions and everything, but i'll probably fuck something up and leave the house internet-less or something. :(

also when i touch my eyebrow my eyeball hurts :(

lol well i admit that some of the stuff i listen to is pretty damn obscure.

the eye thing-- well, it's probably due to staring at the monitor for too long. my eyesight's a teeny bit ruined already, and i'm trying (not very successfully) to cut down on my computer time to avoid making it worse XD

I've given up on the whole eye strain thing. To balance out the computer time, I've stopped wearing my glasses at times when I don't need them (I used to wear them all the time). It seems to work... for now :)
