i suddenly want an AU inspired on this song. :D
i wish i could post my big painting that i did for my final (it's the best work i did in all the semester in that class, even if it got me a barely passing grade :/ ) but i left it at school and they're not open and they're not answering phone calls. :[
so i'm posting all this stuff instead.

these are all copies of paintings. i did 9 of these but i'm only posting the best 4. spent 20-30 minutes on each.

and this one too

the first one's a discarded idea for my graphic arts final. the second one's one of four drawings i ended up doing, and the only one i like.

(it got a little cropped at the sides)

the first one works with the idea of masks and bringing hidden flaws to the surface. worked with plaster and medical bandage (to show the defect they're supposed to correct). used my own twisted foot as a mold and installed it on a flight of stairs, for reasons that should be pretty obvious.
the fourth is a "map" for a bigger photography project i did about vacant places (no-places, normally hidden and avoided by people that i "discover" and bring to the foreground) and deviating from the routine (house-school route in this case) to go looking for them. used an actual map of my city, mixed parts of it and drew on them, manipulating and using a standardized language (cartography) in an arbitrary, subjective (more free) way. that's the short of it at least. whoop whoop.
