meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] melusinahp and modified (since it said write instead of draw).

If you could force me to draw anything in the world, what would it be?

Oh, it's a lot of fun. Seems to be popping up all over the internet these days.

Basically, it's a cheesy BBC family show about the Arthurian legends. So you know, Arthur, Merlin, Guinevere, Morgan Le Fay - the whole lot - except in this version they're all young and attractive and ridiculously gay for each other. Merlin arrives in Camelot, and is hired as Prince Arthur's manservant (their words, not mine), and the boys spend their time sniping at each other and sacrificing their lives for one another to prove how epic their love is. But Merlin is a warlock, and magic is banned in Camelot, therefore he must keep his magic a secret in order to avoid execution. "Magic", of course, is code for "homosexuality".

No, seriously.

The actors and the writers have acknowledged the gay. Not to mention there's a giant dragon in the show whose sole purpose is to ship Arthur/Merlin with stupid lines like: "The half cannot truly hate that which makes it whole" and "you are but one side of a coin, Arthur is the other".

There's even this one scene where Merlin lies sick in bed dreaming and tossing in his sleep saying "Arthur, go faster, Arthur, uhh" - at which point my 15 year old sister accused me of watching gay porn.

Even if the whole Camelot thing is not your cup of tea, I still suggest just checking it out, if only for a laugh.

Yep, you can watch it online. That's what I've been doing. I linked you in the above comment. :D You just scroll down a bit, click on the episode titles, then click "search for more sources" and a list of links should come up.
