i slept a couple hours and the swaying feeling has gone away. mostly. i had to wake up to shower because i was feeling incredibly disgusting and my hair was a ratty mess. oh, and remember my comments about finally getting a tan? well, the lobster red coloration on my chest and legs toned down to... splotchy brown. go me.
oh and speaking of hair, my blue fringe was a hit in the caribbean. i had at least one person commenting on it every day.
i had a bit of internet access while i was staying at the hotel in panama, so i was pretty surprised when i received an invitation to

i did read a couple books. child 44 which bored me a little in the middle but picked up later on, i enjoyed it. in the ship's library i found kushiel's scion, which i picked up because i've heard some people on lj talking about that series. the world-building and the inter-character relationships were pretty interesting (esp. the royal families, i always like that sort of stuff), but... the sex bored me. i abandoned the book shortly after the stuff with the pseudo-roman senator's wife started happening. and the constant mentions of phedre's super duper fabulous awesomeness were a bit tiring as well. i also read GoF (in its original english) which was a good memory refresher because i had only read that book once, like 6 years ago. and once again i thought that if harry and ginny had gone together to the yule ball it would have been beyond adorable. too bad they sucked as a couple later. it also gave me major cravings for both immediately-post-azkaban r/s and school-aged h/d. oh, i suffered. :[
i also gained like 3 kilos from the cruise food. stupid delicious food.
now, i think i should go edit some photos.
