**unrequited merlin/arthur. i've been craving this since the beginning of season 2, but i've only managed to find a couple fics. i'll take anything, s2-compliant or not. it can turn requited at the end, as long as the fic centers on the unrequitedness, supposed or real. i prefer merlin doing the pining, but arthur is fine too if you have it.
things i don't want: merlin paired with other people? suppose this won't be an issue. arthur being a complete total jerk to merlin if merlin's the one pining, though it's okay in the opposite case. any of them being girls (in the both literal and figurative sense). i normally don't like modern AUs, but if you have one that fits the bill, i can give it a try anyway.
**m/a fics that center more in the process of m/a getting together than in the final result (read: sex). i've discovered that with this pairing, i don't really care much about the sex most of the time, but instead i'm all about the UST and the awkwardness and the fumbling and the developing of the relationship. i've been having issues getting though m/a sex scenes lately without skimming past due to loss of interest. *shock! gasp!* so i don't even care if the fic doesn't culminate with one.
** gwen/lancelot. please rec me stuff for my beautiful, beautiful gwen/lancelot. i'll take anything, i still don't know what i like and don't like, because i haven't read a single fic for this pairing. the only things i don't want are ot3/4/etc (seriously. not even a hint.) or arthur/gwen taking up a huge part of the fic.
