hp_yule_balls reveals went up! here's my contribution, in case someone out there couldn't tell right away. u_u

...you know, at first, looking at riot_grrrl_ria's requests, i wanted to give femslash a shot, but then i remembered being a little disappointed that last year's smutmas was so low on the remus/sirius. so i was all like "no man, i gotta represent for the OTP" so i went with the r/s. AND THEN it turns out that yule balls had r/s coming out of the ears. *eyerolls at self*

this was really fun to do, sort of different. i have a fixation with fragmentation and modules as a method of composition and construction in art, and i enjoyed incorporating those ideas to my fanart. this was my second attempt, actually, initially i was working on a normal, one-panel painting, but it just wasn't enough for what i was trying to show. and i was never satisfied with anything about it, it was incredibly boring-looking. i still have the in-progress sketch, i will post it later.
