victory!! i found the painting i did for my painting final last semester. someone had stolen it from god knows where (i asked the man who was in charge of cleaning out the painting room last year and he told me it had been thrown away, so wtf) and had written the following message in the back of the canvas: "do not throw away, steal or tear, canvas will be used for 3rd year painting". i was like, WHAT so i enlisted a classmate's help and stole it back. i left the following message written on the frame the canvas had been stretched on: "this painting is mine. i had been looking for it all over and i was told it had been thrown away, so i'm taking it back." i thought about leaving some choice expletives but i ran out of space. if they had asked around to see if the owner still wanted it or not, i would have probably let them have the canvas after taking some photos of it to keep, but since they didn't care enough, then i won't care that i left them without a canvas to paint on.
yes, i know this was worthy of http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/ but well. fight fire with fire and etc.
in other news, i am liking super paper mario very much.
i was really skeptical about this game because so much changed from the gamecube version, which became one of my all-time favorite games like 10 minutes into the first playthrough, but it's much better than i expected. i don't like the main city very much, it seems so empty, but as for the rest, i have no complaints.
expect some drawings later tonight and through the weekend. the sketches are piling up and i want to show some of them (i'm thinking of posting the one i freaked out about --some of you know which one-- but flocked and with disabled comments).
