my reviews suck aka: more zelda master quest
so, i'm ready to go inside ganon's castle... gonna post some more random observations up to this point. now with 80% more screencaps.

but before we jump into that: OMG DO WANT NEW WII ZELDA!!!!!111

the last time i posted, i was inside jabu jabu's belly. soo lots of shit has happened, the most remarkable being that i collected 80+ screencaps of the epic love story of link and sheik. but don't worry, i'm not posting them here. i'm making a special post for that.

i also watched a ton of glitch videos leading to my discovery that you *can* beat the running man without using cheat codes.

i've never liked fishing that much, but OH MY GOD this is the first time i've actually *hated* it. it took me so ridiculously long to catch a fish as an adult. longer than usual. i don't know if it was my crappy controller or what, but i caught it like 4 times (over the course of several days) and it ALWAYS escaped. stupidly enough, i didn't cap the moment i finally caught it. the fishing guy was like "it's so big, it won't fit on the screen so i can't measure it" or something like that. which sounds kind of dirty out of context.

more slutty fairies:

i don't think anything remarkable happened between jabu-jabu and the fire temple (the most boring dungeon in the game imo, although it does have a badass boss), so... i didn't take any screenshots.

I'M A SHAAAAAARK. also, does this count as animal cruelty? i've always felt sorry for the poor thing. it's probably dead.

i know lots of folks hate the water temple in the original OOT (and i definitely include myself in that), but the MQ version is surprisingly straightforward (you know... for a water temple) especially since you get the longshot so early.

HI, UGLY DELUSIONAL BITCH!

and now i have proof that her majora's mask counterpart is much prettier. the pic is not mine, but i'm going to play MM after i finish OOT and i'll get a better picture of her.

really! the face is rounder and the features more delicate. whenever i mention this everyone is like "nah".

and she's also not psycho.

shadow link room.

wtf? i couldn't even tell that was water until i stepped on it and heard splashing. and since when is the light greenish? i'm not sure if it looks like that in the game or if it's just my emulator. either way: wat.

derp a-derp. tiny details like this make me wonder if the game designers were high. well, that and the random objects (COWS!!!) used as switches.

blah blah beat the boss, didn't get tentacle raped by it, ruto sleazed all over link some more...

FIRE ARROWS! i love this effect.

are there any crazy theories regarding these huge-ass clawmarks? maybe about getting the triforce, or getting into the sky temple or unfreezing zora's domain? XD

...you must be new to life in the city, dude.

awwww he's an artist!! what kills me is that he drew himself with a fairy. poor bb. ;__;

moving on! the bottom of the well was faster to complete than the OOT version, too.

jumping forwards to the shadow temple... man that place always kicks my ass. :/ but i love it, it's so gruesome. not as much as the bottom of the well, in my opinion, but still gruesome.

case in point. the bomb flowers in this version kind of ruin the ambiance...

random shot from the entrance. i like this place.

i don't know why they changed this part. in the original bongo bongo dissolves into some kind of white noise thing. it wasn't blue. they also changed its "shadow" version (when it escapes from the well) into a reddish/purple shade:

why change that sort of thing?

gerudo fortress!!

the color-changing clothes glitch doesn't work anymore. :[

speaking of clothes, goron tunic is my default outfit for link. he looks hot in red! and then with the mirror shield and the silver/golden gauntlets, even better.

i tried to get the biggest quiver but my controller is so awful that i can't get my score in the horseback archery game to go over 1200-something points. :/

desert colossus. had some mindless fun making giant enemies appear after killing a bunch of small ones

then visited a great fairy fountain... i really didn't remember them being so pink...

emulator problem again? :s

magical fairy oasis! i love it.

ahaha hahahaha. silly face.

THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. isn't adult link pretty much a 10-year-old boy in a 17-year-old body? he *slept* for 7 years, it's not like he just automatically matured or whatever (which makes pairing him up kind of creepy, but... let's ignore the implications. lalala can't hear you). oh well. vidya game logic. just say "you have to squeeze yourself into a little hole in the wall, come back with a smaller body". but i guess that doesn't sound ~mystical~ enough.

whatever. back as a kid.

I C U CREEPIN.

also, i'm not sure how "pure" link is anymore, seeing as...

...he's been a victim of redead raep numerous times.

creepy. he must be related to the angry sun in super mario 3.

OMG FUCK OFF.

YES. PLEASE GO DIE SOMEWHERE.

EW EW GO AWAY CREEPY PEDO!OWL.

INVISIBLE!NABOORU IS INVISIBLE. WTF, GAME?

back to adult.

this room with the rolling boulders is so weird :| first a giant moblin appears OUT OF FUCKING THIN AIR, you don't even have to press a switch or do anything. and then you have to play different songs on every alcove. which is fine, but... epona's song?? since when is it important enough to be part of a temple puzzle? :I

(i just had a thought-- what's the origin of the song of storms, anyway? adult link learns it from the windmill man, but the windmill man learns it from child link, who only knows it after traveling 7 years into the future and hearing it from the windmill man and... aaaaaaaaaah. madness.)

after you clear the room and open the door to the next one, you look up to find...

an arachnophobe's worst nightmare.

random shot of link playing the ocarina and looking pretty.

more pretty! i don't know which temple is more beautiful: this one or the forest temple. i think it might be this one-- the forest temple has some really beautiful rooms like this one:

but the spirit temple has... idk the same atmosphere everywhere. or a *stronger* atmosphere.

kill the boss, blah blah. nabooru got a little creepy there too. when she talked to link as a achild she said she promised to give him something good in reward for bringing the silver gauntlets to her. and now she's like, "if i'd known you'd grow up to be so hot, i would've kept my promise". WINK WINK, NUDGE NUDGE, SAY NO MORE.

then we meet zelda, yay (not. SHEEEEIK. ;_;).

and it all makes sense: her and link were just two dumb kids getting into something that was too big for them to control.

"coincidence"? try "monumental fuck-up". ganondorf totally had an eye fixed on both link and zelda (letting them do his dirty work for him) and took advantage of the perfect moment. smart guy.

last shot of zelda doing her thing before ganondorf catches her and takes her away.
