when i played OoT a few weeks ago, i went on a screencapping frenzy every time sheik appeared on screen. after i was finished, i found myself with over 80 caps and i thought, well, i better show the internet what i've done!

(today meaning the 7th. it doesn't count as a new day until i go to bed and wake up!)

because today i received another late gift from fera_festiva! a box filled with the most amazing things! giant barrettes, a beautiful pair of earrings and a scarf in my favorite color (try to guess which one it is!), ZELDA MINTS OMG (not my pic, but they're the same!), an adorable card vandalized by hilarious stickers, a lot of delicious candy and chocolate, photos, postcards & handmade resin pins (which, btw fera_festiva, i showed my mom and she was very impressed by your skillz). and also bubble wrap. XD i also saved all the papers the gifts came wrapped in, because i'm a total pack rat when it comes to paper.

today was also my posting day at dc_fireplace, and that went great too! i'll post a link here as soon as i'm done replying to comments.

and lastly i caught up with spn_gossip, and that was awesome too cause it brought the lulz.

ok last post. swear. but i was playing zelda earlier and i remembered that, when i watched merlin 2x08 a couple weeks ago (ps. watched 2x09 today. what a waste of an episode.) i had a "OMG FOREST TEMPLE" moment when merlin and arthur arrived to the ruins where morgause tested arthur etc etc. and since that's the part i was playing today, ( i took some screenshots for comparison! )

in other nerdly news, i FINALLY got a star ranking on mario kart wii!!!1 now i'll play online a lot more, if only to see the pretty star next to my name when i race. my next challenge: getting two stars! also, people on f!s enthusiastically recommended shadow of the colossus to me, so that's on my list of games to try.

i can't even stay on twatter for long because frankly, i don't give a shit about the chicago con and that's all my feed is talking about right now. and i'm having a weird fit of grumpy awkwardness so CLASPCON is a no-go. i don't feel very funny. i watched merlin but that only kept me entertained for about an hour.

been reading some fanfic in spanish for a change. it still feels a bit weird, but irati's showed me that it CAN be done in ways that don't make me cringe. i'm now reading one in ff.net that it's pretty good for ff.net.

oh, also: i got a small craving for remus/james a few days ago but i got majorly bored after only 2 fics (from authors i usually like, even). so much for that shiny new pairing. phhfjhpffft.
