oh god i am so bored  
i can't even stay on twatter for long because frankly, i don't give a shit about the chicago con and that's all my feed is talking about right now. and i'm having a weird fit of grumpy awkwardness so CLASPCON is a no-go. i don't feel very funny. i watched merlin but that only kept me entertained for about an hour.

speaking of merlin, was anyone else having ocarina of time-related flashbacks during a certain scene? FOREST TEMPLE! i think i'll go play some zelda. maybe that'll un-bore me.

WHERE IS EVERYONE? LET'S TALK. ABOUT ANYTHING.

ALL THE TEMPLES TOOK ME FOREVER TO BEAT BECAUSE I WAS BUT A WEE N00BLET WHEN I GOT MY N64. playing that game for the 1st time? one of the best times of my life for suuuure.

the forest temple is my favorite. IT IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL. and you'll totally have the flashbacks. THE STONE BLOCKS AND VINES. even the lighting. i've had lots of zelda moments watching merlin but that was the biggest.

I was a cheating cheater the first time through the game (stole my friend's guide) but, yeah, still totally awesome.

lol well, i had to call a friend a few times when i got stuck. and i definitely followed a guide to get all the skulltulas and power-ups, but it also took me a long time because it was the first 3d game i played. took me a while to get used to the controls.

i miss the times where i could play every day and still spend 2 months trying to beat a game. it's way too easy now. :[

Actually, no. Because of the Zelda temples, the Forest is possibly my second fave - right after the Spirit Temple. :D

dude, the forest temple is my absolute favorite. even down to the music. shadow temple is 2nd because it is LE CREEPY, and the spirit temple in third.

This is why I generally maintain a safe distance from LJ and Twitter while a con is going on. I just don't have much interest in them, but all the tweets and reports and flail eat up the internet like crazy. I mean, it's cool to see the pics and read the reports, but....meh. Maybe I'm just a Scroogey fan, but cons are very blah to me.

the only good thing to come out of those have been the misha photos (which made me want fic in which cas wears a 3-piece suit >__>. and then dean helps him out of it). i can't even watch the videos because i don't understand what they're saying. so it makes me even grumpier.

i'd be interested if i was there, but i'm not, so why would i give a crap.

I'm antisocial enough that if I were there I would be uber grouchy because I hatehatehate large, loud crowds. The cool fangirls would be awesome to hang out with, but some of the other ones...ugh. I have a .3-second quota for girlish squealing and dolphin noises. Anything beyond that length just makes me want to punch people. -.-

Pretty sure I have think for that sort of thing. Maybe Dean and Cas were incognito or something and Dean has never seen Cas out of his usual suit so seeing him all dressed up makes him all sorts of hot and bothered? Dunno. But I love argyle socks, just in general. I should count how many pairs I have...
