I'm surprisingly secure enough in my R/S shipping to not mind that other pairings involving them exist (because, I mean, we all know who they really love), but I will nevernevernever understand people who ship Snape/Lily. He was a jerk to her friends! He called her a racial slur! He didn't care that her husband and probably her child would die for him to have her! OMG SO ROMANTIC!!!!!!!!

oh it's not really a security thing. it's the hp ship equivalent of having a bag of puke waved under my nose while someone insists that IT SMELLS WONDERFUL, REALLY. gosh, that's mean. :|
