here's a bunch of stupid doodles from months ago. i kept them as filler for a time when i had nothing of value to post, fanart-wise. some are failed attempts at full paintings that i kept because i liked them anyway.

re: that fanart of tonks i posted the other day, i'll see if i can shake off the boredom by attempting to draw a tonks/ginny piece in a similar style. it'd be the first femslash pic i've ever drawn...

i went ahead and started posting on IJ. let's see how that goes





drew this one ages ago when i found out that remus's birthday was on march...something. but i got bored with it. yes, it's cropped. yes, he has a bow tied to his dangly bits. there was also a tag that read "happy birthday remus". >_> *blushes*

i hated the colors on this for a long time. a 100%-opacity orange layer with the blending mode set to hue seemed to do the trick.

Excellent, as always. The rainbow one is hilarious! Oddly, the whole rainbow-slide thing (combined with the scary-ass contextual ponies), reminded me of that scene in the first Fantasia movie to Beethoven 7.

Anyway, #1 would, indeed, be like the best birthday gift ever and #4 is the sketch for the sexiest picture EVER. I agree with duck_or_rabbit. #3 is actually a fairly plausible AU. Didn't people think Remus was a Ravenclaw for a bit, anyway?

And the other two are just adorable.

Yeah, the one with the centaurs. etc. It begins with these little winged horses (Pegasuses, I guess) sliding down a rainbow.

And I never knew that people thought Remus was a Ravenclaw until I came upon some fan art the other day that was "from back when everyone thought Remus was in Ravenclaw because they did not specifically say he was in Gryffindor." WTF? I always thought he was a Lion, too.

I'm taking a break until my Black family fest fic is done. I am half-way through and all my muses want to do is blow one another. *kicks them*

I'm weird about who I am willing to be in a different house or not. So a Slytherin Harry Drarry fic is ok or Gryffindor Draco Drarry. But IDK Remus reminds me so much of what I was like as a teenager and insecurities I felt (not that I was a werewolf LOL) but I like his quiet less showy bravery, it speaks volumes to me.
