tomorrow i'm leaving on vacations for 10 days. going on a cruise. so, don't expect to see much of me those days. though i suppose i'll go park my ass on the ship's internet cafe if i get really, really bored.

(for those interested this is where i'm going: panama, colombia, aruba, curaçao, bonaire and then back to panama. i guess this year i will finally get a tan)

well, that's my heads-up to you. i expect you to link me to anything interesting that's been posted when i get back. :p

another thing... i was thinking of issuing a little challenge for fic writers. i upload x number of instrumental songs of various genres, you write a ficlet inspired by it. most of the "inspired by x song" fics i read have their basis on songs with lyrics, i wanted to give a more sensory, visceral source of inspiration. the selection won't be as varied as i'd like to, since i'd be getting the songs from the remains of my music collection, but... how does that sound? i could post the songs tomorrow and give you the 10 days i'll be away to write something.
