is it just me or is this pingback thing completely useless? the only notifications it sends is when i link to my own posts. which is stupid, if you think about it. am i doing something wrong?

it's a service for paid accounts, you friend this bot and it notifies you every time someone links to one of your posts. however, it only works if a) the other's account is also paid b) that paid account also has the service activated. so, so far the only notifications i've received are when i like to my own posts. u_u

Huh. Well, that's sort of pointless, isn't it, if you only get notified if paid accounts link to your posts? Most people (I'd say) don't have paid accounts.
