the forehead-slapping continues

is there an equivalent of godwin's law for other dictators? because i saw a pro-vegan flyer on my way home that compared meat eaters to stalin.

What? I couldn't hear you over this piece of veal I'm eating.

But was the painting room meat free today? That's what I want to know.

Well, as a meat-eater I regularly send people to Siberia, so it's pretty accurate.

(Wait, what)

I saw a bumper sticker once that said: "I LOVE ANIMALS: THEY'RE DELICIOUS."

You need to stick that over the flyer.

Ugh, I am a vegetarian and I don't agree with that at all. But then again, because I still eat eggs and milk I may be considered Hitler...

That's the kind of reasoned debate I love. *headdesk*

On my desk at work I have a PETA sticker of a cartoon chicken declaring: "I am NOT a nugget!"

well, see, they need to pop their mouths off about meat eaters because they feel bad about themselves being so unhealthy. it's kind of like a childhood bully compensating for his poor self-esteem.

Do they really think us carnivores are going to see that and go, "Well, fuck! I didn't realise!" and throw down our burgers? Not the most effective way of converting the meat-eaters. We eat animals; we're made of sterner stuff than that. :)

*sigh* I wish people like that would get off my side.
