so i have this song that i like very much (winamp just played it) but i can't listen to it completely because the ending terrifies me so much i go all tense and panicky and my stomach ties itself into knots.
i tried to listen to it until the end once and i wanted to run out of my bedroom.
i'm also the sort of person who falls for a screamer and is traumatized for months afterwards. i'm not even exaggerating. i fell for one where they make you listen to a song backwards (as if that wasn't creepy enough by itself) and you have to turn up the volume, idk if any of you know about it. anyway, even reading about screamers made me break into a cold sweat for a long time afterwards.
my mom tells me that i've never been good with loud noises-- when i was a baby i would start crying if someone got a balloon near me (i guess i was afraid it would burst) and the washing machine and vacuum cleaner noises made me go lock myself in my room. i still cringe when a balloon pops near me. i guess that's also why i'm so bad with horror games-- the weird noises paralyze me.
defective y/y?
ps. if anyone is interested in the song ("no one there" by sentenced) i can sendspace it. it's a totally normal song really, right until the end.
