• holy shit man, Aceilux is FINISHED. This was the only Zelda fic I was still reading, and now I'm feeling all... sad and stuff. Because it's over. ;__; What shall I dooo. The Link/Sheik comm is sort of dead and I don't love L/S as much as I used to, so almost none of the fics that get posted interest me. Oh well. :/


• I updated the rec list. It went from 184 fics to 196 (plus 2 pieces of art). Some are new, some not. Obviously I had forgot to look in some places. :]


I just finished the first painting for my oil painting class. I still sort of hate using oils (I always start out well, but then it gets so fucking tedious), but the painting didn't turn out that bad. It's a reproduction of one of Beksinski's paintings. I'll post it when it's dry (along with a link to the original for humiliating comparative purposes, of course).

Aceilux! I know, man, that was the first Zelda fic I read that left me *thinking*. I oughta write an essay about it though. Cause I need to scratch the neurons a bit. It made for an explosive story, eh?

man, that ending... :D oh and did you see the post-epilogue notes? she made everything fit with the wind waker story. it's awesome.

I, indeed, wrote that (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2930252/1/Reflections_of_a_Fallen_Queen). A long time ago, possibly under the influence. XD

It was precisely because of her Japas-notes-thingy she posted that I figured it wasn't going to be a "And they lived happyly ever after/the Golden Age came" sort of thing. That was made of awesome.

...and it kinda reminds me I ought to get off my ass as well and finish that goddamn sequel for Maktub I never actually got around finishing. I fail at writing one-shots, I really do. XD

well, i meant an *essay* about zelda. haha.

i don't remember those notes... hmm.

yay sequel! i'm sad that my L/S love is not as strong as it used to be. damn new shiny fandoms. :[ i wonder why no one used the hidden village history in TP for L/S fic-fodder. at least no one i know of. :/

Ah, you mean this essay (http://community.livejournal.com/oikirith/3036.html). ^^; I'm writing a second essay about the fic, 'cause I've got a bone to pick with Sheik. XD I guess I just love to dissect things.

Sequel, yeah. ^^; I'm horrible at keeping interest in fandoms. It's not that I don't love them anymore. It's that I get easily distracted by something else. I still love Shink though, it makes me unnaturally happy to read about it, but I'm mostly sucked up by KakaIru in the Naruto fandom, to write about them. At least now I've got the time to write, though.

Hm, you're right, it IS strange... it does seem an interesting posibility, eh?
