• holy shit man, Aceilux is FINISHED. This was the only Zelda fic I was still reading, and now I'm feeling all... sad and stuff. Because it's over. ;__; What shall I dooo. The Link/Sheik comm is sort of dead and I don't love L/S as much as I used to, so almost none of the fics that get posted interest me. Oh well. :/

• I updated the rec list. It went from 184 fics to 196 (plus 2 pieces of art). Some are new, some not. Obviously I had forgot to look in some places. :]

I just finished the first painting for my oil painting class. I still sort of hate using oils (I always start out well, but then it gets so fucking tedious), but the painting didn't turn out that bad. It's a reproduction of one of Beksinski's paintings. I'll post it when it's dry (along with a link to the original for humiliating comparative purposes, of course).

aaaaaah!
It's done, finally.

That Remus/Sirius AU rec list I rambled about some time ago.

Currently, it has 184 fics, 1 piece of art and 1 comic. In case you were wondering, no, I have no life.

Backdated because a) I don't want to see that huge post on the front page of my LJ OR on anyone's flist and b) I don't want to put it under a cut.

EDIT: I guess I should mention that this is also a HAY GUYS AM I DOING IT RIGHT-post. Since I've never done this kinda thing before.

I know I said that there would be photos today. Uh, I suck. But I have Things To Do tomorrow, which means I'll forcibly have to go out (the motivation's the hard part), which means I'll have no excuse not to take the damn pictures.

Aoede's Pretty Damn Long List of Remus/Sirius Alternate Universe Recs

The Bring Back Black rec list!

(Go to main list)

There were so many of these fics I had to put them in a separate post. But here they are!

Stories that only make a passing mention about Sirius' resurrection (not relevant to the main plot) are in the main list.

» Bring Back Black R/S FQF
The challenge is simple: bring him back. Bring him back, and bring them together. The challenge applies to both writers and artists alike. That's all you have to do. You can do it however you like, just so long as he comes back.
Note: There are 11 fics archived on the site. A few of them are already on this list.

» Veil of Possibilities Challenge
When Sirius fell through the veil, he didn’t die, but entered an alternative reality, a parallel dimension of his own world. In order to get back to his own reality, he has to travel through the veil again and again, until he finds his own dimension from a myriad of possibilities.
The realities he encounters are sometimes similar to his own, sometimes entirely different. In each world he has to find his way back to the Arch to travel on. Will Sirius return to his own reality? Will he ever see Remus again? Or will he succumb to the dangers or temptations of the possibilities he encounters?
Note: There are 12 fics archived on the site. Update 02/10/2008: the site seems to be dead, so the link leads to the Wayback Machine's archives for the time being. Hopefully the problem will be solved...
