i'm also reccing another fill that was claimed, unusual circumstances by miashay, dean/castiel, nc-17 (more info on header), which was one of my favorites. written entirely in dialogue (which means which means lots of dirty talk which equals fuck yeah), very hot, with some touches of humor.

• i was going to watch hawaii five-0 tonight but turns out i'll be getting reruns until february. :| not pleased. i think i'll just dl what's left of the season.

+ in communication by takadainmate, dean/castiel, r. Set somewhere between 6x03 and 6x06-ish. Cas isn't there. Dean thinks he should be.
+ west of the one by moonlettuce, jensen/misha, nc-17. Jensen/Misha - they're stuck in a traffic jam during a roadtrip and their car radio isn't working. Misha finds a way (or several) to distract Jensen from boredom
+ thing of wings by tiny_antares, dean/castiel, sort of preslash, pg-13. Inspired by (and titled after) this drawing by Euclase; after Cas helps Dean, Dean pulls himself together in order to return the favor.

• slowly (but surely) beginning to mail their cards to people. sans candy, i'm afraid. i hope the cards make up for it!

• i've been playing majora's mask and i hunger for some good genfic for the game (like this one. never cared for game novelizations but holy shit it's amazing). where is it?? i've only found two or three. D: please help me out, flist. i've had to resort to browsing the zelda archive on ff.net and there is only so much badfic i can take before my brain dribbles out of my ears.

• days of old and days to be, merlin/arthur, background gwen/lancelot, r. Regency AU in which Arthur is the darling of the ton, Merlin is still a terrible valet, Mordred is a radical rabble-rouser, and Gwen's in love with a Light Dragoon.
i'm not much for AU in this fandom, but this fic totally won me over. there's a lot of attention to detail and the characters, especially morgana, are all fantastically written.

• birthday cas doodles! from aldehyde. based on scenes from 5x10 :D it has cas/cellphone(/dean ;]), the CASWALK and cas/shot glasses. :p

• asleep, at heaven's gate by schmoooop. wherein Gabriel schools Castiel on the finer things in life and teaches him how to laugh, swear in borrowed language, and take a leap of faith.

ahfgshjfdk. this is just, omfg. SO BEAUTIFUL it makes me wanna cuddle it and roll on the floor like my cat does when she's happy. an amazing interpretation of heaven, the life of angels, and the family they form. it makes what we saw of gabriel and the castiel-gabriel relationship in canon all the more heartbreaking. omg flaaaaaail.
